Do I have to submit a request to get the records I need?

  • The information you are seeking may not require a records request. Many of the records that are requested through this portal have already been made available online under the various department web pages on Davis County's website, or you may contact the department directly.

When will I receive a response to my request?

  • Records requests will be answered within ten (10) business days from the date we receive the request. If the request will take longer than ten days, we will notify you that additional time is required to comply with your request pursuant to Utah Code ยง 63G-2-204.

Where can I find information about my property?

  • You can search your property online using the Davis County Property Search. Once you've selected a property, you will be able to print or request various documents directly from that site.
  • The Davis County Recorder's Office employees are not permitted to search the records on behalf of patrons. All records are open for public inspection during regular office business hours. For more information on how to retrieve their records, please the Davis County Recorder's website.

Where can I get my immunization records?

Where can I find court records?

  • You will need to go directly to the city or district courts to make requests for their records as they are each a separate governmental agency from Davis County.
  • The Davis County Justice Court does NOT use this portal to fulfill records requests. To make a request for their records, please visit Davis County Justice Court website and click on 'Criminal/Traffic Forms'.

What happens if I don't receive a response?

  • A requester has the right to appeal a denial or partial denial within 30 days of the receipt of the response issued from the entity. 
  • In the case where no response was issued, an appeal should be made within 30 days from the date in which the entity should have responded to the request.
